Placed in warmed red pitch to secure it, a piece of metal is hammered and shaped in the ancient technique of "repousse"! The inner sleeve in this ring is then hammered over the edge of the form. This example is in sterling silver with a delicately colored Lavender Moon quartz faceted stone of 10mm set in a bezel.
